As an Exercise Physiologist and Kinesiologist, I have been training individuals for over 20 years. I specialize in developing personalized training programs which meet your objectives and your lifestyle.

Provides an overall picture of current health based on tests and/or measurements used during the assessment.  All tests are performed by a CSEP (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology) certified Exercise Physiologist.  Testing may include tests for strength and endurance, flexibility, postural alignment, blood pressure, resting heart rate, body fat percentage, and body mass index.  Upon testing, recommendations for strategies to bring about optimal health and fitness will also be presented during this assessment.

I specialize in training programs for:

  • Weight Loss
    Upon completion of a physical assessment, I will develop for you a realistic training program, which maximizes your result, minimizes your injury threat and all this in a minimum amount of time. You learn proper form and technique and are coached to develop a consistent healthy lifestyle. Your goal of a healthy body weight will be obtained.
  • Rehabilitation
    I work closely with several physiotherapists in the area and can help you to rehabilitate after an accident or injury. My holistic training approach provides you with the support you need to resume your past activities and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
  • Healthy Lifestyle/”Bucket List Training”
    I provide you with a specific training program which will help you get your health back on track. You may be hearing advice from your doctor, family and friends that you need to pay more attention to your health; my role is to provide you with that personalized program that will do just that. I provide training programs that can either be performed at your home or at the gym in the most efficient time possible. Research shows that people who are active actually live longer lives.

I work with clients in the following ways:

  • Personal one on one training sessions that are scheduled regularly 2-3 times per week.
  • Complete training packages which enable you to train on your own with periodic follow up. Self motivation is key here!
  • Small groups in classes or in personal training sessions
  • Comprehensive fitness/health assessment

My "Bucket List" training program

is for all those individuals that want to live life large and move out of their “comfort zone”. You may have decided that at your age you want to run a marathon, or climb a mountain. I can help you to prepare for these challenges while at the same time steering you clear of injuries that will take you off track to your goals.
